Sports Cash System – Progressive Pond Dipping

I am going to do something which I have always been told is wrong and ultimately foolhardy. It may bust the alloted bank or it may build it up for re-investment – I don’t know until I try!

I am going to use an American tipping service to find the ‘nailed on bets’ which will provide a daily pick from sports I have no knowlede of – sports from across the pond like baseball, basketball, ice hockey and American Football. The fact I have not got a clue about these sports means I will have no preconceptions and will in effect be betting blindly – another no, no!

I will then use the daily pick as part of a progressive staking plan based on…the Martingale System…arghhh! I hear you cry…well I’m a beginner at this and I will only use a small bank but let’s see if the slick American hype can overcome a cautious cynical bettor like me!

The Strategy!

The strategy is based on a  series of 4 bet single consecutive bets. The first bet uses a starting amount that you are comfortable with as the Martingale strategy may demand a 4th bet which you should also be comfortable with.

If the first bet loses, you have to multiply your starting betting amount by 2.1 and bet that amount on the next game. If the second bet loses the stake is again multiplied by 2.1 and so on with the 3rd and 4th. When there is a win a bet, the stake goes back down to the original starting stake. If the 4th bet loses the sequence is bust (and the bank will be as well if it’s the first sequence!)

So starting with a target profit of £10, the staking could rack up like this:

Bet 1 :   £11.00

Bet 2 :   £23.10

Bet 3 :   £48.51

Bet 4 : £101.87
So total bankroll required is £184.48 

This strategy allgedly works because “you are CONSTANTLY ensuring that you are winning and NEVER LOSING. If you don’t win one bet, then you simply times your stake by 2.1 to pick up the loss from the last bet.” (Easy!)

The strategy reportedly sees your bankroll  grow quickly. Even starting with a £10 or £20 bet level it is suggested that you could be betting £50 or £100 per game for bet 1 within one to two months! So it seems the opportunity with this strategy is very big, even for small bettors. So lets find out.

For those with big starting banks and ‘balls of steel’ you would need the following amounts;

To make £400 to £500 a month profit, then your bankroll has to look like this.
Bet 1 :    £27.50

Bet 2 :    £57.75

Bet 3 :  £121.27

Bet 4 :  £254.66
Total bankroll: £461.18

To make around £1000 a month then your bankroll needs to look like this:

Bet 1 :   £55.00

Bet 2 : £115.50

Bet 3 : £242.55

Bet 4 : £509.35

Strong claims indeed! Can’t be many bookies who would accept some of the high wagers but there are a few like Pinnacle and I suppose the recommended US outfit.

I will be targeting 1pt per bet so that the starting figure can be extrapolated to any starting amount and betting bank.

One particular US based bookie is recommended for this strategy as they allegedly support the technique – or perhaps the promoter gets a referal fee! (me being the cynical type!) I will look at a variety of bookies to see if I can get a better price. The American bookmaker uses those weird American odds which I will convert to my favoured European odds.(see below)

Trial Start Date; 9/9/13

Interim Report

After one month we have a profit of +16pts. If we had started with a £10 a point / £185 bank we would now have a £160 profit and a new bank of £345 which we could use to rollover and increase the starting wager. The claim that you could be betting £50 or £100 per game for bet 1 within one to two months is perhaps a little exagerated but if the progress continues there would certainly be a big enough bank to double the stake. There have been 4 times where the bet level has been at stage 3 and once where we thought it had reached stage 4 but the previous level 3 bet was void due to change of pitchers.

The change of pitcher issue for baseball needs addressing and it wouldn’t take much to add this to the selections to avoid confusion to those who place the wagers late!

There remains some debate as to the starting bet  – I have used 1 point if the first level selection is near evens or above and more if the first selection is well below evens – this is to give a profit of one point. I have then followed the multiplication plan of stake x 2.1pts for each level thereafter.

After the first big loss and a sequence of 6 losses I have started with the basic 1.1pt bet

Final Report

The official trial ends up with +24pts after 3 months. We troubled the bank once after building up a good profit of 24pts which was wiped out by 6 consecutive losers! We are currently on a losing sequence and the next bet will be at level 3. If I continue to receive the tips I will continue to proof the results but the predominant feeling is that it is only a matter of time before the hard earned winnings are given back to the bookmakers!

Using £10 a point we finish with an extra £240 in our bank – not quite ready to move onto the next level yet but better than nowt! Oh I forgot to subtract the monthly subs of £117.31 x 3 = £351.93 – Oh gee! That means I’m -£111.93 worse off…and if I did the ‘extra picks’ too I would have lost -£254.43!

So you have to start with a much bigger bank and more than £10 a point for this progressive staking plan…and ignore the extra bets.

The tipster runs this under the psudonym of ‘Tommy Krieg’ and calls it the ‘Sports Cash System’! My email box was bombarded with promotional dross from Tommy about how well his experts were doing (not entirely true!) and to take out subscriptions to his and other services…not to mention the American bookie he favours!

Two losing sequences in the month take all the previous profits from 108 days of betting and leave the allocated bank 0f 18.45pts with  12.41pts to use to cover any recovery!!

A dangerous and over hyped betting strategy is proven to be just that!

Updated Report (23/1/14)

After a decent run of bet level 1 winners the inevitable happened yet again and after 132 days the profit and most of the bank is blown! The deficit is now -10.27pts which leaves just 8.18pts left of the bank which was set aside on 9/9/13…but if I had started this mularky 6 weeks or two months later I would have blown one or two banks by now – Which goes to show how yet again the American hype machine of ‘Tommy Krieg’ is misleading to say the least!

End of extended trial – This is the best long term evidence you can get of this load of croc…you certainly won’t find it on Tommy’s glossy site…and Phil Rushton (another seller of croc) has been pushing this tripe for the last few weeks…shit sticks together!!!!

This barrowload of croc is still being pushed and I’m still getting the selections sent to me for free! A decent run since April for the main picks and then a couple more blow outs in recent weeks puts paid to all that. And now this ‘Tommy Krieg’ pseudonym is telling his ‘subscribers’ to do the same with the 3 extra picks, 2 of which are on level four for today…this guy might be Phil Rushton…or the American bookmaker which is exclusively promoted!

IMPORTANT NOTE ON TONIGHTS GAME:  Do not bet Wisconsin on the spread as we normally do.  Place your bet for Wisconsin on the moneyline so that no point spread is involved.  You will have to bet a bit more than usual because the line is -140 but this makes it so our chances of losing are very small. As long as Wisconsin wins the game as our system is showing they have a 93% chance of doing, we win the game.  Quite a lot more to cover the losses – so much for receiving another ‘crowing’ email from Tommy  about the new basketball picker and how this system will make you thousands and bookies want to kill him – if Wisconsin don’t win this ‘shoe in’ I think subscribers might want to kill him – especially those who signed up a few months ago and are still trying to recover losses if their bank managed to sustain them!

Notice Regarding Yesterday’s System Pick: Yesterday’s system pick bet was a PUSH/TIE due to Nolasco (Los Angeles’s pitcher) being switched to Kershaw. Your bets should of been refunded and it should have been a PUSH. We didn’t have time to change the bet after they made the change at roughly 5pm yesterday.
